Fireside Chat Reflections: Insights and Feedback
Our 2024 Fireside Chat season has completed, with 4 online Fireside Chats taking place in March/April. We host Fireside Chats with two ‘big rock’ goals:
- Provide leaders throughout the council, and at all levels of Scouting, an opportunity to hear from key council leadership and learn about some of the council priorities and projects currently ongoing and upcoming;
- Provide leaders an opportunity to share their thoughts, voice their concerns, and ask questions about scouting in our council.
After the fourth Fireside Chat, we sent a survey to participants and you can read the survey questions and Scouters’ responses in the linked document. We have already shared the results with key staff and board leadership for review and we sincerely appreciate the time Scouters took to share their feedback. Continue to look for surveys after key meetings and activities throughout our council – the feedback is important and helps us tailor our offerings to meet the needs of Scouters.
