All Youth Protection Training (YPT) will expire on Sunday, May 31, 2026 — and SYT is now required for all registered Scouting America volunteers.

Here’s what you need to know:

• YPT has been replaced by Safeguarding Youth Training (SYT)
• Required for all volunteers and new registrations
• New 20-minute refresher is now available
• ⚠️ You must complete the full 90-minute SYT course first before taking the refresher
