From June 12–26, 2027, Scouts and adult Advisors from across the Grand Canyon Council will trek through 137,000+ acres of rugged backcountry in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains—summiting peaks, exploring historic Old West living history camps, and taking part in unforgettable activities like climbing, shooting sports, mining, and more.

This is more than a trek—it’s a life-shaping adventure where challenge, leadership, and lifelong friendships are built on the trail.

The GCC Philmont Contingent is open to both individual Scouts and small groups looking to join an incredible crew experience. Whether you’re aiming for Baldy Mountain or just want to experience the magic of Philmont, this is your chance to be part of something legendary.
