Troop Service Opportunity: Help Restore the Grand Canyon's North Rim
Help restore one of Arizona's greatest treasures.
On October 9–11, 2026, Scouts BSA troops are invited to partner with the Kaibab National Forest to help restore areas impacted by the Dragon Bravo Fire on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.
Scouts will plant native saplings in and around Dragon Canyon, helping revegetate the forest while participating in a meaningful conservation service project. It's a unique opportunity to leave a lasting legacy in one of our nation's most iconic landscapes while putting Scouting's commitment to conservation and service into action.
Camping: Free camping will be available at Jacob Lake Campground. Troops should plan to provide their own meals.
