🌵 Introducing the Arizona Horizon Award (Nomination Window Closes November 30)
Some of the people who make Scouting special don’t always fit neatly into an existing award.
That’s why we’re excited to introduce the Arizona Horizon Award—a new Scouting Arizona recognition created to celebrate exceptional unit-level volunteers whose dedication, service, and impact make a meaningful difference for Scouts, families, and their unit.
The Arizona Horizon Award provides a way to recognize those behind-the-scenes volunteers, dedicated supporters, and exceptional leaders whose contributions may not otherwise be recognized through another Scouting America award.
🌵 Nominations Open
Beginning October 1, units can nominate outstanding adult volunteers for the Arizona Horizon Award. The Unit Key 3 will select recipients from their unit’s eligible nominations.
The Arizona Horizon Award honors those who help young people see what is possible.
📅 Reminder: Nomination Window Closes November 30!
Units have until November 30 to discuss nominations, approve recipients through the Unit Key 3, and submit approved nominations to Council. Don’t miss the deadline!
